The American Music Abroad Stars & Stripes Tour hails from the southeastern United States and is comprised of students from Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina. These high school musicians will be performing in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, and Germany this summer. We are excited to introduce our symphony orchestra and brass band programs, and we hope you enjoy the concert!

Columbus Symphony Youth Orchestra is one of the leading youth orchestras in the United States. Bringing together talented young musicians from across central Ohio, the orchestra regularly performs on prestigious concert stages under the direction of Elias Miller.
Columbus Symphony Youth Orchestra was founded in 1955 at the initiative of conductor Claude Monteux and has remained closely connected with the professional Columbus Symphony Orchestra ever since. The orchestra includes approximately 90 talented high school musicians from across central Ohio, selected through a highly competitive audition process.
Under the direction of Elias Miller, the young musicians develop not only their technical abilities but also a strong sense of ensemble collaboration. Through close cooperation with professional members of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, students gain valuable experience in authentic symphonic performance practice and regularly appear on prestigious concert stages.
Elias Miller serves as Assistant Conductor of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra and Music Director of the Columbus Symphony Youth Orchestra. He has collaborated with leading American orchestras including the New York Philharmonic and Minnesota Orchestra, and made his Carnegie Hall debut in 2023. In addition to conducting, he is also an accomplished pianist, cellist, and educator.

Wagner College Choir is the premier choral ensemble of Wagner College in New York, directed by Thomas Juneau. The choir regularly performs at prestigious venues around the world, including Carnegie Hall, the Vatican, and La Madeleine Church in Paris.
Wagner College Choir, under the direction of Thomas Juneau, brings together students, alumni, and members of the Wagner College community in New York. Known for its diverse repertoire, the choir has performed at internationally renowned venues including Carnegie Hall in New York, St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican, La Madeleine Church in Paris, and Chartres Cathedral.
Dr. Thomas Juneau serves as Director of Choral Activities at Wagner College. In addition to his conducting work, he is active as an educator, scholar, and composer, with a strong interest in music history and contemporary choral performance.
