The Glendale College Concert Singers is the premier choral ensemble of Glendale College in California, comprised of auditioned students and community musicians.
The Concert Singers have appeared at a variety of high-profile venues, including multiple performances with Video Games Live at the Nokia Theatre, the Verizon Theatre, and the San Diego Convention Center for Comic-Con. Additional notable engagements include performances at the Ford Amphitheater with Kayamanan Ng Lahi, an award-winning Filipino dance company, as well as appearances at Forest Lawn in Hollywood Hills and throughout Glendale.
Most recently, the Concert Singers collaborated with American Idol finalist Anthony Fedorov to record and film the music video “Enough Is Enough.”

The Triangle Youth Philharmonic is the premier orchestra of Triangle Youth Music, a leading music education organization based in North Carolina that has been nurturing young musical talent since 1988. The orchestra brings together highly accomplished student musicians and provides them with opportunities to perform at a level comparable to professional symphony orchestras.
Led by conductor David Glover, an experienced educator and artistic leader, the ensemble brings to Prague a program filled with orchestral favorites and memorable melodies. Audiences can look forward to music by Georges Bizet, Giuseppe Verdi, Aaron Copland, Leonard Bernstein, Johann Strauss II, and John Philip Sousa, performed by a talented new generation of American musicians.

This young, rapidly growing ensemble of more than 120 singers captivates audiences with its openness, authenticity, and joy in singing together.
The program, filled with iconic American melodies, will blend spirituals, folk, Broadway, and contemporary choral music. Soubor Musiciof Robert Gordon’s College přiváží do České republiky pestrý program, který propojuje energii koncertního dechového orchestru, krásu sborového zpěvu, komorní eleganci smyčcového kvinteta a – to nejlepší nakonec – autentický zvuk skotských dud.
Robert Gordon’s College patří mezi přední vzdělávací instituce ve Skotsku a hudba zde hraje významnou roli. Na koncertě se představí školní Concert Band, Chamber Choir a studentské smyčcové kvinteto, které společně nabídnou průřez klasickou hudbou, filmovými melodiemi i oblíbenými moderními skladbami.
Můžete se těšit například na hudbu z filmu Brave, slavnou Habaneru z Bizetovy opery Carmen, energickou skladbu Jai Ho z oscarového filmu Milionář z chatrče, ale také na sborové úpravy známých hitů skupiny Toto či Backstreet Boys.

The concert will feature a combination of choral singing and orchestral music performed by three top-notch school ensembles—the Senior Choir, the Chamber Choir, and the Symphonic Windband.
The program will take the audience on a journey across musical styles and centuries. The program will feature traditional folk melodies, sacred music, the classical choral repertoire, and contemporary compositions for wind orchestra. Visitors can look forward to, for example, the well-known song “Shenandoah,” Gershwin’s “Summertime,” Mendelssohn’s “Lift Thine Eyes,” and energetic compositions for wind orchestra by contemporary composers.
The Senior Choir is the school’s largest choral ensemble and brings together students aged 14–18. The Chamber Choir is a select chamber choir that ranks among the school’s most successful ensembles. In 2024, it won the GSA Choir of the Year award, and in 2025, it advanced to the finals of the prestigious British Barnardo’s National Choir Competition.
The Symphonic Windband is bringing a representative selection of its members to Prague and will present a diverse repertoire of contemporary wind music, film-inspired pieces, and concert works.
The program will also feature the newly composed piece *Fanfare and Celebration* by British composer James Redwood. The work was created as a tribute to the school’s long-time head of the music department on the occasion of his retirement and will be performed by the Senior Choir and the Symphonic Windband.

Every year, the international Musica Orbis Prague Festival brings young musicians from around the world to Prague; this year, four exceptional orchestras will take the stage at the Mayakovsky Hall of the National House in Vinohrady.

The Amadeus Children and Youth Orchestra from Kosovo will bring its passionate string sound, full of Balkan spirit. Orchestre Guitares & Co from France will surprise audiences with its unconventional lineup—an entire orchestra composed exclusively of guitars, capable of playing everything from Baroque to contemporary music. The Mazer Philharmonic Orchestra from Taiwan will showcase breathtaking precision and musical maturity. And the Taipei Municipal DunHua Junior High School String Orchestra, also from Taiwan, will demonstrate what young musicians are capable of when they have a decade of careful pedagogical tradition behind them.

A choir from the London school that Prince George and Princess Charlotte attended is coming to Prague.
Thomas’s Battersea Choristers brings together the school’s best young singers, aged 9 to 13, who were selected for the ensemble through auditions. The choir regularly performs at church services, major school events, and prestigious charity events, including the annual Advent concert for the world-renowned Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London. The choir also regularly embarks on concert tours abroad.
The young singers meet for rehearsals three times a week and tackle a demanding repertoire ranging from classical and sacred music to contemporary choral works. Thanks to systematic vocal training, musicality, and the joy of singing together, the choir has built a reputation as one of the finest school children’s choirs of its kind.
The choir’s artistic director is Sarah-Jayne Martin, the school’s music department director and an experienced choirmaster with international experience. The choir is accompanied on the organ by William Vann, an acclaimed British organist, conductor, and director of music at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, who is one of the leading figures in British church music.
The choir will perform in several historic churches in Prague. A particularly extraordinary experience will be the concert at the Church of Our Lady before Týn at 4:00 p.m. on July 15, where the majestic sound of the church organ, performed by William Vann, will also be heard.

Come hear some of the best young musicians in the United Kingdom. The orchestra regularly performs at prestigious venues, including the Royal Albert Hall in London, Symphony Hall in Birmingham, and the Royal & Derngate in Northampton.
The Northamptonshire County Youth Orchestra brings together exceptionally talented instrumentalists aged approximately 13 to 18 and has long been one of the most highly regarded youth orchestras in the United Kingdom.
On its tour of the Czech Republic, the orchestra is accompanied by its partner ensemble, the Northamptonshire County String Sinfonia, which specializes in chamber music for string instruments. Together, they will present a program that combines masterpieces of Romantic music, Czech classics, 20th-century music, and famous film scores.
You can look forward to Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s dramatic and imaginative overture *Romeo and Juliet*, one of the most compelling musical adaptations of Shakespeare’s story. The program will also feature a popular selection from Dmitri Shostakovich’s Suite for Variety Orchestra, including the famous Waltz No. 2, which has won popularity around the world. Czech music will be represented by the energetic Dance of the Comedians from Bedřich Smetana’s opera The Bartered Bride.
The highlight of the evening will be John Williams’ legendary *Star Wars Suite*. The audience can look forward to iconic melodies such as the *Star Wars* main theme, Princess Leia’s tender theme, the monumental *Imperial March*, and the triumphant closing march from the throne room.
The concert will be conducted by John Bickerdike and Richard Smith—respected British musicians and educators with extensive experience on concert stages and in music education.
You can look forward to an evening full of youthful energy, symphonic grandeur, and unforgettable film scores performed by an orchestra that represents the best of the British musical tradition.

The Classical Chorus is bringing more than 150 enthusiastic singers from Hertfordshire to Prague.
The year 2026 is a special one for the Classical Chorus—the choir is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its founding. Part of the anniversary celebrations is a concert tour to Prague, during which the choir will present a special program titled *Written in the Stars*.
You can look forward to a musical journey spanning centuries and genres. The program will feature famous excerpts from Vivaldi’s Gloria, a stirring Kyrie based on motifs from Dvořák’s Largo from the New World Symphony, the operatic classic “Toreador Song” from Bizet’s Carmen, and an emotional selection from the legendary musical Les Misérables.
Classical Chorus performs regularly in major concert halls and historic venues throughout Europe. In recent years, the choir has performed in Tuscany, at the Church of La Madeleine in Paris, and at the famous Menin Gate in Bruges, Belgium. Among its achievements are sold-out concerts at London’s Royal Academy of Music and performances at the prestigious Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
The musical production is led by Abigail Harris, an experienced conductor, soprano, and educator who is one of the most respected figures on the British choral scene. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, she has been working for more than twenty years as a conductor, vocal coach, and instructor. She has received several major awards for her contributions to music education and community music-making.
The Classical Chorus concert will offer a captivating combination of classical music, opera melodies, and musical theater hits performed by a large British choir that captivates audiences with its energy, musicality, and joy of singing together.
